PHILADELPHIA, February 16, 2023 – TREND Community, a digital health analytics company with the bold vision to revolutionize the world’s understanding of diseases, today announced that its poster, titled “Understanding the Patient Experience With Sodium Oxybate Therapy for Narcolepsy,” will be presented at the Advances in Sleep and Circadian Science (ASCS) to be held February 17-20, 2023, in Clearwater Beach, Florida.
This poster is based on an abstract of the same title and provides evidence from both social media and survey results showing that the need to take a second dose of sodium oxybate is associated with various sleep-related issues and disruptions for people with narcolepsy and their caregivers. Daily functioning, physical and mental health, injuries, and quality of life were affected.
