Individuals living with recurrent pericarditis are living in pain and fear, desperate for a treatment that will return their quality of life. In August 2019, TREND Community compiled and analyzed the publicly available social data streams to gain insights into the burden of this rare disease and to raise awareness for the urgent need for improved treatments.
This Community Voice Report* marks the first step in understanding the research implications of these conversations. Through this work, TREND hopes to inspire future initiatives and improve the quality of life for caregivers and individuals living with recurrent pericarditis.
