In October 2021, TREND Community, in collaboration with Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals Corp and Dr. Chadi Alraies (Detroit Medical Center) presented a poster at the NORD Rare Summit titled: Amplifying Patient Voices Using the Rapid Method of Social Listening: Pericarditis.
This analysis brings further understanding of the impact of pericarditis on patients’ lives and highlights the richness of the conversations shared between community members. The ability to interrogate social media conversation data can be valuable to patients, physicians, researchers, and pharmaceutical developers, particularly in the context of rare diseases, where real-world information is often limited.
